Kihei Surfside

This six story, 84 unit, masonry and concrete building, located on a beautiful oceanfront site in South Kihei, Maui was constructed in the early 1970’s. The AOAO needed to effect some necessary structural repairs and decided to give the project a much needed facelift at the same time. The scope of renovation work included installation of new aluminum and tinted glass windows, sliding doors and guardrails, installation of a high tech lanai floor coating, and a complete new paint job.

Before and after photos show a vastly improved appearance. Michael Wright and Associates handled all construction management aspects working with General Contractor Viking Construction and a group of excellent sub-contractors. Brandon Erickson Structural Engineer rounded out our team leading the tricky spall repair and strengthening elements of the work. This successful project was completed late in 2015 and the Owners are stoked with their updated home.
